Meet Lili Bitner
Lili Bitner is a lifelong Republican and Utahn. Lili is the oldest of seven children and eight adopted children. She was raised in a home that fostered a love of family, heritage, faith, and America. She was taught the value and the joy of hard work, and she has raised her kids with the same values.
Lili grew up in Davis County and graduated from Layton High School in 1991. She then attended Weber State University on a full debate scholarship and earned national recognition in a CEDA competition. While in school, Lili began her interest in civic participation and the Republican Party, where she became a county delegate for the first time.
Lili married her husband, John Bitner, and together, they have raised seven children, now ranging in age from 14 to 28. They have raised their children in Davis County, where they both grew up. Lili has shared her love of learning, American history, literature, art, music, museums, travel, National Parks, faith, and family traditions with her children throughout their lives.
Lili works as a professional event planner for private and corporate events. She has coordinated and managed more than 100 weddings and large-scale events. Her experience aligning diverse perspectives and managing complex logistics culminated recently in her role coordinating the Media and VIP Open House for the Layton Temple, a four-day event hosting more than 3,000 guests.
Lili believes in the importance of civic involvement and has participated heavily in the grassroots of the Republican Party. For nearly three decades, she has participated in door-to-door campaigns, calling efforts, caucus organization, and hosting neighborhood meetings. She has served for nearly 20 years as a county and state delegate and remains actively involved in the Utah Federation of Republican Women. She currently serves as Secretary of the Davis County Republican Women and has organized Flag Day celebrations for many years.
Lili is deeply committed to serving her community. She is a member of the Davis County Medical Alliance, advocating for improved healthcare policy, has supported the Davis County Women’s Shelter, and has served on the Davis County Interfaith Council since 2013.
